CEO

  Pelin Ilhan graduated from Ege University with a degree in Biology (Zoology) in 2013. She completed her master's and doctoral studies in the Neuroscience Department at Ege University, during which she conducted research in the fields of biomaterials and tissue engineering. While pursuing her doctorate, she served as a project leader in the TÜBİTAK 1002 project, where she designed a neuroinductive tissue scaffold by integrating acellular matrices into biomaterials. Following her doctorate, Ilhan continued her research at the EBIOPHASE Laboratory, focusing on spinal cord injury models as part of the M-ERA.NET project. In December 2023, she founded PA Biotechnology Industry Trade Inc. with the support of TÜBİTAK 1512 BİGG and is currently focused on the development of in vitro skin irritation testing kits.

CTO

Aylin Şendemir is a faculty member in the Department of Bioengineering at Ege University. She completed her master's and doctoral studies at Boğaziçi University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, specializing in biomaterials and tissue engineering. In her doctoral thesis, she designed and implemented chitosan and calcium phosphate-based porous scaffolds for bone tissue engineering. Her research areas include biomaterials, biomechanics, cellulose-based and polymeric composite materials. She has served as a project leader in national and international projects and has authored more than thirty international publications. As a co-founder of PA Biotechnology Industry Trade Inc., Dr. Şendemir is focused on developing innovative skin irritation testing kits.

Ali İlhan has 15 years of expertise in sales and marketing, gaining senior-level experience at leading companies in the industry. He began his career in the sales and marketing department at a prominent manufacturer, where he worked for three years before taking on the role of Turkey Sales and Marketing Manager for an additional two years. He then served as Sales and Marketing Manager at a well-established organization in the sector for two years, achieving significant successes in strategic marketing and customer relationship management. At another key player in the industry, he spent another two years as the Sales and Marketing Manager, leading innovative projects and gaining a deep understanding of the dynamics of global markets. With the experience he has acquired, Ali İlhan has established strong business connections both nationally and internationally, continuing to create value by building a wide customer network.

QA /RA

Umut Doğu Seçkin served as a Lead Auditor and Product Specialist at EU regulation Notified body over six years, during which he gained significant experience in orthopedic/dental implants and material. Also he is expert in sterilization methods (moist heat, ethylene oxide, aseptic processing, irradiation) as well as biodegradability and biocompatibility. He has conducted extensive research on nanomaterials and coating technologies. After spending time at notified body as a Product Assessor, he has been actively involved in in vitro models, test kit, microchip development projects for the past nine years as a Laboratory Research Assistant in the 3D Biomaterials and Biointerfaces Laboratory (EBioPhase) at Ege University. He is also PhD candidate.
